Old Hills Icelandics

Old Hills Icelandics is based near Malvern in Worcestershire.  We have taken our name from the place where we live on the Old Hills Common, at Callow End, near Worcester.

The smallholding covers about twenty acres of grazing land, and we also have extensive common grazing rights on the Old Hills and the Powick Hams.

We breed and train Icelandic Horses.  We currently have about twenty horses.  We also have a small flock of sheep.  Most of these are now Icelandic, but we also have a few old Oxford Downs and Suffolk crosses.

Old Hills Icelandics is owned by Fi & Ian Pugh.

Fi Pugh

Fi is an experienced rider and trainer of Icelandic Horses. She is Britain's first international sport judge, and a qualified B-Instructor (Denmark).  She is the current British Champion in the Four Gait and Five Gait Combinations, as well as Pace Test and Dressage. Fi spends most of her time training horses, and looking after the smallholding. She is also an International Sport Judge, and has judged at competions in Netherlands, Denmark and Slovenia.
